Green tea (Camellia sinensis) contains several categories of beneficial substances, such as polyphenols, alkaloids, proteins, amino acids, vitamins, trace elements, and more. Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is a polyphenol found in the highest concentration in green tea. EGCG has antioxidant properties and contributes to the normal function of the immune system. Finally, in addition to its antioxidant properties, green tea is also known for its tonic properties in conditions of physical and mental fatigue.***
